And it did not go well.
I gained 2.5 lbs – the exact amount I lost at my first weigh in. Oops.
I did however have an amazing week in the social sense and that of course included lots of good (but bad!) food and drink.
Let’s see, there was pizza – lots of pizza. And chips. Oh and then there was Nando’s. And real cooked dinner, with real gravy and all the naughty bits. Finally there was milkshake – unforgettable milkshake. Milkshake with Kinder Buenos and marshmallows and white chocolate buttons and cream and ice cream…. and lots and lots of yummy calories.
How I only gained 2.5 lbs I will never know. But this week I am back and that gain is going!
Things I have done
* made free soup
* eaten and shared with dogs my last pie – still counted syns though
* did a mini Slimming World shop – milk/veg
* defrosted meat to make real food again
So wish me luck and I will see you next Friday!! (Hopefully a few lbs lighter!)
Ok so. Months ago I came back after a break. It all went horribly wrong, I gained a lot…. A whole lot! Oops.
The good things – I enjoyed my birthday, I enjoyed christmas and new year. And I relaxed as much as I ever have around the weight gain. This is the first time I’ve very nearly meant “it’s ok I’ll lose it again later”
So on Friday I rejoined Slimming World. And it’s all new! Oh lord, more things to remember!!
New plan new rules. Here’s the run down :
* No more Red and Green plans – only Extra Easy
* But tweaks still count – syn at value of what you’re replacing.
* No more Success Express
* But now there is SP!
* No more Superfree either!
THE SP PLAN
Food is no longer listed as Free, Superfree, Speed, Superspeed etc.
Now there are just three categories –
FREE PROTEIN SPEED
On the SP plan you are either to do for a max of two weeks at a time or throw in odd days here and there. Very much like Success Express.
On SP fill your plate 50/50 with S and P foods. If you NEED a free food, have it…don’t stress as it’s still better than syns.
You also get 1 A choice and 2 B choices on SP. If you add in a lot of free food though, call it a standard EE day and lose the second B choice.
Why I’m going to win this time
I am going with a friend this time round.
We have both signed up for 12 weeks.
I have personal incentives.
I’m still lighter than January 2014.
I only have 2 stone to lose.
I lost that and more in 12 weeks in 2014.
Bring it on!
Oh wow! Guys…..guuuuuuys! Where have I been? Not here obviously.
How bad, I had done so well keeping up with this blog and my SW instagram meals that it was keeping me hard on plan. I have a few confessions to make…bare with me.
Confession 1 – I broke my phone, proper capoot. I know that’s no excuse for eating crap but still. I couldn’t blog, instagram…I couldn’t even look up syns on the slimming world app!! So I ate it anyway. Sorry lovelies.
Confession 2 – Home has been a bit shit. Break ups and rearrangements happened and rehappened and its taken a fair while to sort my head out. I’ve eaten to make me happier. FYI it didn’t work…I got sadder. Oops. Which leads me to…
Confession 3 – I’ve dropped to losing half pounds if I’m lucky. No more massive 4lbs every week for me at the moment. One week I gained 5 whole pounds! That’s sickening! I needed to get a grip!
So I am back, I am motivated… and I have a new phone! Get in!!!
Week before last I lost a whopping 7lbs!! (Slightly overshadowed by the previous week’s 5lb gain but hush!) This week I rocked a 4.5lb loss! So…freaking…chuffed!!
I got this new bad boy too!!
That’s right, I am now 11stone 12.5lbs my lovelies!!! Boom, take that fatty!
